Residents have been helping the kitchen out with the making of food, such as wonton dumplings, banana pastry, spring rolls and mochi for food demonstration and preparation classes. The kitchen will then cook the food and serve residents at lunch or afternoon tea. Residents also learn about the nutritional value of the food they prepare. The staff also provide guidance to the residents on how to handle the food safely and hygienically. Residents can enjoy the food they have made with their friends and family. The project has been a great success, with many of the residents volunteering their time to help out.
